ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Sri Gangothri College of Nursing, established in 2018, is a part of the prestigious Gangothri Education Society which was founded in 2003. The college is our next step in the path to making quality healthcare training available to the people of all strata of the society.
The Nursing College is a liated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and recognised by Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC) and Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Spread across a 2-acre campus, Sri Gangothri College of Nursing College is located o Sarajpur Road close to the Wipro Head O ce in South Bengaluru. Students go through their eld training at Gangothri Hospital, which is a multi-specialty parent hospital of Sri Gangothri College of Nursing. Through their training, students get to understand the practical aspects of their profession and are able to hone their skills to work in hospitals and other medical organizations.
Their training at the hospital also makes the students more con dent and equip them with skills necessary for nurses to be able to face emergency medical scenarios. The Nursing College intends to provide students with a holistic learning approach that helps them pave a solid roadway for their career.

Hailing from small village and a farming family, he paved his career through government schools and colleges to become a radiologist . He served at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology for 20 years. As a visionary, he saw the growing need for multi-specialty hospitals and well-trained healthcare professionals in the country. He furthered this vision by establishing Gangothri Hospital in 1998. By 2003, an educational society and it’s first Gangothri School of Nursing was established.
As a philanthropist, Dr. Gange Gowda K. has always emphasized on the importance of giving back to the society through health camp services and several other CSR activities. He also finds quality healthcare services to be important for the society and tries to make it available for as many people as possible.
